Navy SSR(Senior Secondary Recruits)

It is an integrated part of the Indian Navy and a non-technical field in which the recruited soldier is sent to the post of a Sailor. The recruits have different groups and different work as well.

To be part of Navy SSR you must have the Eligibility to appear in the exam.
What are the Eligibilities for Navy SSR?
1. Education Qualification
In education, you must have Passed 12th from any recognized Board of the Country and with a minimum of 60% or above.
2. Age Limit
The age of the candidate should range between 17-21 years.
3. Physical Ability
The minimum height of the Candidate should be 157 cms and also an expansion of Chest up to 5 cms.
Now, if you are eligible to appear in the exam then you have to go through an Exam that gets completed in 3 steps.
1. Online Test
This test is of 100 marks which contain 100 Questions of 1 Mark each.
2. Physical Test
Physical Eligibility is also important in Defence Sector so a Physical Test is also conducted in which the candidate has to run 1.6 km of distance in 7 minutes and also has to make a set of 20 sit-ups and 10 pull-ups.
And the last step of the Exam is
3. Medical Test
Finally in the Medical Test mental state of the candidate is checked.
After the completion of all the above steps, Merit List is issued and a Candidate whose name appears on the Merit List has passed the exam.

Indian Navy SSR Exam Pattern
The online test paper of this exam is of 100 marks, in which a total of 100 questions are asked, and each question is of 1 mark.
There is also negative marking in Navy SSR Exam, in which .25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
